This page sometimes notes the occasional updates I do to the site. Verified every outside link on the site. They all work as of today, Sept 17/2012.
"Living with Klinefelter Syndrome, Trisomy X and 47,XXY: A Guide for Individuals and Families to X and Y Chromosome Variations" is now available. It is a quite comprehensive overview of the genetics involved in X and Y chromosome aneuploidy, as well as providing information on medical issues, educational and psychosocial concerns, and transitioning to adulthood. Many participants of XXYTalk completed the online survey that helped to provide information covered in the book. It is available for order through Amazon (www.amazon.com) as well as on the KS&A website, www.genetic.org. My purpose in writing it was to make available a well-researched guide, particularly for those with new diagnoses and for parents with prenatal diagnoses. I have wanted to do this for the 25 years since my son, now an adult, was diagnosed when I was 5 months pregnant. It is currently being formatted for e-readers, and should be available on Amazon in a few weeks, if you prefer not to get a print copy. (added May 27, 2012)
