Fonts

This site looks best in Verdana, though it will load Arial or any sans-serif font if neither Verdana or Arial are on your machine. If the font-size is too small it can be adjusted. In Netscape click on "View" and then "Increase Font." In Internet Explorer click "View" and then "Text Size." In Opera click on "Preferences" and then "Font and Background," and adjust the "Font Size Difference," which is expressed as a percentage.

About

Hi, my name is Vaughn Hambley, and I am 47,XXY.  I live in London, Ontario, Canada.  I am the site author, designer, and developer.  I am also a former member of the Board of Directors for the American Association for Klinefelter Syndrome Information and Support (AAKSIS).

The What Is XXY? part of the site was originally written by myself, Carol Wilson, and Ed Jensen as a six-panel brochure for the now defunct organisation, SCHIP.  The brochure target audience were the newly diagnosed, and the brochure was to be distributed to medical and genetic professionals.  With the demise of SCHIP we were left with a great brochure and nowhere to use it, and thus its present redevelopment as the core of the 47XXY/Klinefelter Syndrome site.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this site: John "Patchman" Tonge, Michael Lipshutz, Terry Gefael, David Drexler, Dianne Bartlett, Steve Gerken, Carol Wilson, Ed Jensen, Bill Bucar, Linda Morgan, Kent Fletcher, Stefan Schwarz, Graeme Tucker, Mats "Viking" Svensson, Ron StAubyn. . . and for all of you who have taken the time to send me information over the past 9 years.
